SANJU SAMSON MAKES IT TO TEAM INDIA AND MAKES MAR IVANIOS COLLEGE PROUD! CONGRATS AND ALL THE VERY BEST, SANJU! He was feted in the College today.

The IQAC organized a half-day workshop on E-Learning for the faculty of the College on Saturday, 2 August. The resource persons were Mr. Laji Varghese of Mar Theophilus Training College, Trivandrum, and Dr. Satish Kumar, Dept of Future Studies, Kerala University.

The Principal also shared the format for the Evaluation of Teachers by Students with the members of the Faculty at a Staff Meeting. It was shared with them so that they would be aware of the criteria by which they would be evaluated. The format was prepared by the IQAC taking into consideration the sample formats of the UGC, and can be accessed from HERE.

College closes for Onam vacation today

18 July 2015
Classes have started for the new FDP Semester 1, and for FDP S3 and S5.

PG S3 classes have also started. PG S1 applications for admission have closed. List to be published on 22 July.

21 November
The first end semester examination of the first FDP batch (S1) under autonomy commenced on Friday, 21 November, 2014. The end- semester examinations for the S5 and S3 commenced on 21st and 25 respectively.

5 November 2014
ESE for the first and fifth semesters are over. Classes for the second and sixth semesters will commence on Monday, 8 November.

13 October
The internal test for the I Semester students of the FDP commenced today.

2 August
The IQAC organized a half-day workshop on E-Learning for the members of the faculty on 2 August. The resource persons were Mr. Laji Varghese of the Mar Theophilos Training College, Trivandrum, and Dr Sathish Kumar of the Dept of Future Studies, University of Kerala.

22 July 2014
Two members of the Alumni were feted in the College today. One of them, Christo Tomy, won the National Film Award in the Short Film Category and his film was screened today. He is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Communication in Kolkata.

Priya Thuvassery, another Alumni of the Dept. of Journalism, Mass Comm and Video Production, is currently Director and Writer of the Great Indian Tamasha show on NDTV and her documentaries have been screened at many festivals.
