This policy document was framed at the request of the Co-ordinator for Student Extension Activities (for S3 and S4 students of the FDP) and is intended to streamline the functioning of these clubs. There are 18 such clubs and they are mandatory under University regulations. This document is meant mainly for the Coordinators of Extension Clubs

In addition to the Extension clubs, nine other student clubs function on campus. These guidelines are for these clubs, and were framed to facilitate the effective functioning of these clubs. It is intended mainly for the Coordinators of the Student Clubs.

The IQAC meeting on 8 October had recommended that the IQAC create a guideline for curriculum revision for the academic year 2015-16. This document was presented at a joint meeting between the Chairpersons of Board of Studies and the IQAC on 28 November for discussion and approval.

The IQAC had a meeting with the Faculty Advisors of the FDP S3 batch to discuss the duties and responsibilities of Faculty Advisors. The Duties and Responsibilities of Faculty Advisors were framed as Guidelines, approved by the IQAC and shared with Faculty Advisors.

The IQAC, after internal discussions, formulated a set of action points for the Statutory and Non-statutory bodies, keeping in mind the forthcoming re-accreditation. These recommendations for 2015-16, based on the seven criteria for re-accreditation, were forwarded to the Principal for follow-up action and implementation.

The External Members of the IQAC had recommended that Course Committees and Class Committees should be formed. Course Committees would oversee the teaching of a particular course, while Class Committees would bring together the students of a class and the faculty teaching that whole class. Guidelines for the functioning of these Committees were framed by the IQAC and placed before the teaching community
The Academic Programmes Committee had invited proposals from teachers to start Certificate and Diploma courses in 2016-17. To streamline and standardize this process the Academic Programmes Committee and the IQAC framed guidelines for starting add-on Certificate and Diploma course.
