New academic year

The first general staff meeting of the academic year 2015-16 was held on re-opening day, 1 June 2015. The IQAC gave a 15 minute presentation on the main activities expected to be undertaken by teachers in the year 2015-16 relating to the Curricular Activities and Teaching, Learning and Evaluation. College closes for Onam vacation today

18 July 2015
Classes have started for the new FDP Semester 1, and for FDP S3 and S5.

PG S3 classes have also started. PG S1 applications for admission have closed. List to be published on 22 July.

21 November
The first end semester examination of the first FDP batch (S1) under autonomy commenced on Friday, 21 November, 2014. The end- semester examinations for the S5 and S3 commenced on 21st and 25 respectively.

5 November 2014
ESE for the first and fifth semesters are over. Classes for the second and sixth semesters will commence on Monday, 8 November.

13 October
The internal test for the I Semester students of the FDP commenced today.

2 August
The IQAC organized a half-day workshop on E-Learning for the members of the faculty on 2 August. The resource persons were Mr. Laji Varghese of the Mar Theophilos Training College, Trivandrum, and Dr Sathish Kumar of the Dept of Future Studies, University of Kerala.

22 July 2014
Two members of the Alumni were feted in the College today. One of them, Christo Tomy, won the National Film Award in the Short Film Category and his film was screened today. He is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Communication in Kolkata.

Priya Thuvassery, another Alumni of the Dept. of Journalism, Mass Comm and Video Production, is currently Director and Writer of the Great Indian Tamasha show on NDTV and her documentaries have been screened at many festivals.
